1. No Refunds on Custom Orders & Customer Responsibility
All sales for custom-made goods (blinds, curtains, upholstery) are final and strictly non-refundable. These items are manufactured to your unique specifications, choices, and measurements and cannot be resold to another customer.
The customer is solely and entirely responsible for providing accurate measurements, fabric choices, and all design specifications. HNS Emporium will not be held liable for and will not offer refunds, remakes, or credits for products that do not fit or meet the customer's expectations due to incorrect information provided by the customer.
2. Warranty Claims (Manufacturer Defects)
This no-refund policy does not affect your statutory warranty rights against defects. If a custom-made item has a verified manufacturing defect or a fault in workmanship that is not a result of incorrect customer information, we will, at our sole discretion, facilitate a repair or replacement of the item in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty. 3. Returns for Standard Stock Items (Non-Custom)
For a small selection of off-the-shelf accessories or ready-made items:
- You may return unused and unopened standard items in their original, saleable condition and packaging within 14 (fourteen) days of delivery for any reason.
- A 10% (ten percent) restocking fee will apply to cover administrative and handling costs.
- The customer is responsible for the full cost and risk of returning the item to us using a trackable method.
- Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, we will issue a store credit for the value of the item, minus the restocking fee. A refund to the original payment method may be considered by exception only.
4. Consumer Rights
This policy is designed to be fair and operates in addition to your statutory rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA), No. 68 of 2008.

- Orders for ready-made items will be processed for dispatch within 24 hours or by the next business day.
- For customized products, a production timeline will be provided and confirmed after order acceptance. All delivery timeframes are estimates only.
- Delivery will be confirmed to the client via a tracking number from our chosen courier partner.
7. Limitation of Liability
